Role Overview:

As an Azure Solutions Architect, you will serve as the technical cornerstone for our cloud infrastructure initiatives, designing robust, scalable, and secure environments that drive our digital transformation. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, product stakeholders, and executive leadership to translate complex business requirements into high-performance cloud architectures. By leveraging your deep technical expertise, you will ensure that our systems are not only resilient and cost-effective but also capable of supporting rapid business growth and delivering seamless experiences to our global user base. Your leadership will be pivotal in defining our cloud roadmap and maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence across our enterprise ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect and deploy highly available infrastructure using Virtual Machines and VM Scale Sets to ensure consistent application performance under varying workloads.

- Design and implement secure network topologies utilizing Virtual Networks, VPN Gateways, and advanced traffic management solutions like Azure Load Balancer and Application Gateway to optimize connectivity and security.

- Manage enterprise-grade data storage strategies by configuring Blob Storage and Managed Disks to balance performance, durability, and cost-efficiency for critical business data.

- Strengthen organizational security posture by architecting identity and access management frameworks through Microsoft Entra ID and implementing granular Conditional Access policies to protect sensitive resources.

- Lead technical workshops and design reviews with stakeholders to align cloud strategies with long-term business objectives and operational requirements.

- Mentor engineering teams on best practices for cloud-native development, automation, and infrastructure-as-code to foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and managing complex Azure cloud environments, with a proven track record of delivering scalable solutions for large-scale enterprise applications.

- Advanced proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting core Azure services, including compute, networking, and storage components, to ensure optimal system reliability.

- Strong command over identity governance and security protocols, specifically within Microsoft Entra ID, to maintain a zero-trust security model.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making at the leadership level.

- Proven ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, managing projects across distributed teams while maintaining high levels of productivity and collaboration.

- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by relevant professional certifications in Azure architecture.

- 7 - 15 years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture, systems engineering, or infrastructure design, with a focus on delivering high-impact technical solutions.
