About the Job:

Job Purpose:

- As the Assistant Manager - People and Culture Operations, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design, implementation, and execution of group-wide People and Culture (HR) policies and operational activities.

- You will be instrumental in fostering a positive and engaging work environment by leading employee engagement initiatives, managing key HR processes, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the People and Culture function.

- This role requires a proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills, a process-oriented mindset, and a passion for creating a thriving workplace.

- You will also be responsible for assisting in the management of the HR team and ensuring the smooth delivery of all HR-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Engagement and Employee Connect:

- Strategy Development & Implementation: Contribute to the design and implementation of comprehensive employee engagement strategies and programs aligned with the organization's values and goals.

- Communication & Dialogue: Plan, organize, and facilitate various communication forums, including town hall meetings, Q&A sessions, and feedback sessions, to foster open dialogue and transparency across the organization.

- Recognition Programs: Develop, manage, and administer employee recognition programs to acknowledge and reward individual and team contributions, promoting a culture of appreciation.

- Employee Events & Celebrations: Conceptualize, plan, and execute a diverse range of employee events, including team-building activities, social gatherings, and celebrations of achievements and milestones, ensuring alignment with the engagement strategy and enhancing team cohesion.

- Well-being Initiatives: Implement and promote programs focused on employee well-being, encompassing mental health resources, fitness activities, work-life balance initiatives, and other support mechanisms.

- Engagement Measurement: Assist in tracking and analyzing employee engagement metrics through surveys, feedback, and other tools to identify areas for improvement and measure the effectiveness of engagement initiatives.

- Employee Feedback: Act as a point of contact for employee feedback related to engagement initiatives and work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to address concerns and implement improvements.

HR Operations and Processes:

- Performance Management (PES): Support the administration of the performance evaluation system, including communication, training, and ensuring timely completion of reviews.

- Exit Management: Manage the end-to-end exit process, including conducting exit interviews, analyzing feedback, and ensuring a smooth transition for departing employees.

- Data Management & System Understanding: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data, generate HR reports as required, and possess a basic understanding of HRIS systems to ensure data integrity and efficient processes.

- Internal ISO Audit: Participate in internal ISO audits related to HR processes, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and contributing to continuous improvement.

- Reward and Recognition Administration: Assist in the administration of reward and recognition programs, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.

- Policy Implementation: Support the implementation and communication of group-wide HR policies and procedures across the organization.

- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and contribute to the development and implementation of more efficient HR workflows.

Team Support and Collaboration:

- Team Assistance: Provide support to the broader HR team in the execution of various HR activities and projects.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure alignment of HR initiatives with overall business objectives.

- Vendor Management: Assist in the management of relationships with external HR vendors as needed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.

- MBA in HR is preferred.

- Proven experience in developing and implementing effective employee engagement strategies and initiatives.

- Demonstrated experience in managing HR processes such as performance management and exit management.

- Familiarity with HR data management and basic understanding of HRIS systems.

- Experience in organizing and managing employee events and well-being programs.

- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
