FP&A Analyst Experience: 5-7 Years | Education: MBA Required We are seeking a highly analytical and strategically-minded FP&A Analyst with 5-7 years of experience and an MBA to join our finance team. This critical role will be responsible for driving the company's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical efforts. You will provide insightful financial analysis to support executive decision-making, identify opportunities for growth and efficiency, and help shape the company's financial future. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and comprehensive financial plans. - Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment evaluations, and long-range planning. - Perform in-depth variance analysis on actual results versus budget/forecast, identifying key drivers and communicating insights to management. - Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for executive leadership and Board of Directors, highlighting financial performance and strategic implications. - Conduct profitability analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and return on investment (ROI) assessments for various projects and business units. - Provide financial support and analysis for M&A activities, strategic partnerships, and new market entry initiatives. - Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and revenue enhancement across the organization. - Act as a trusted financial advisor to senior leadership, offering strategic recommendations based on rigorous financial analysis. Qualifications: - Master of Business Administration (MBA) is mandatory. - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field. - 5-7 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Corporate Finance, or a similar analytical role. - Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and strong Excel skills (e., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial functions, macros). - Experience with ERP systems (e., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and financial planning software (e., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan). - Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), and corporate finance concepts. - Proven ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable business insights for non-financial stakeholders. Preferred Skills: - Experience in a rapidly growing or high-tech environment. - CPA or CFA designation is a plus. - Familiarity with data visualization tools (e., Power BI, Tableau). - Strong presentation skills and experience presenting to executive leadership
