Position: Finance Controller

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 12 to 20 years

Reporting to: CFO

POSITION SUMMARY:

Key Accountabilities:

The incumbent will have the responsibility for managing entire accounting and closing activities, audit, direct and indirect taxes, reconciliations, statutory compliances, MIS at company level, automation etc.

Operations:

- Manage entire accounting and monthly closure

- Finalization of accounts under IND AS

- Handling statutory audit, tax audit, internal & transfer pricing audit

- Provide support to company secretary for filing requisite returns

- Ensuring monthly reconciliation of receivables, payables and inventory

- Overview of daily cash & bank position

- Ensuring all statutory compliances, payments and filing of returns

- Monthly console MIS reports and analysis of variances

- Automation initiatives

- Review various agreements with banks, designers, POS, payment gateways etc

- Handle direct and indirect taxes

- Cashflow management

- Payroll checking

- Incentive calculation

Stakeholder Management:

- Work closely with top management

- Work closely with bankers and auditors

- Have to manage a large accounting team

Professional Experience/Qualifications

- CA with minimum 12-13 years of post-qualification experience

- Strong controllership experience

- Preferably retail background having sound knowledge of stores operation

- Experience of handling large team

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good presentation skills

- Ability to engage with senior management.
