Aza Fashions - Chief of Staff

About the Role

This is not a traditional Chief of Staff position.

At Aza Fashions, the Chief of Staff is a business operator and data custodian - responsible for driving cross-functional initiatives and owning real-time visibility into company performance.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and execution, partnering closely with Category, Marketing, Supply Chain, CX, Product, Tech, and Private Label teams.

We are looking for someone who understands not just how to generate data - but what the data means and what decisions should follow.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Cross-Functional Projects:

- Structure and lead high-impact business initiatives.

- Partner with department heads to solve complex problems.

- Arm teams with the right data and frameworks.

- Track progress and drive accountability across functions.

Examples:

- Conversion and funnel optimization

- Cost rationalization

- Private label scale-up

- Margin and category performance improvement

- LTV and retention initiatives

Custodian of Business Data:

- Own day-to-day business reporting architecture.

- Ensure dashboards across revenue, marketing, inventory, CX, margins, and costs are accurate and actionable.

- Be the single source of truth for leadership metrics.

Run Business Reviews:

- Lead Weekly Business Reviews (WBR) in the absence of the CXO.

- Move discussions from reporting to decision-making.

- Identify risks, trends, and second-order effects.

Advanced Analytics:

- Strong SQL capability (mandatory).

- Build and maintain dashboards (Power BI / Tableau / Looker or similar).

- Conduct cohort, funnel, margin, and scenario analysis.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 4-8 years in consulting, high-growth startups, or consumer businesses.

- Strong analytical capability with hands-on querying experience.

- Exposure to P&L thinking.

- Ability to influence without formal authority.

- Structured thinker with high ownership mindset.

Bonus:

- E-commerce / marketplace experience.

- Understanding of marketing metrics (ROAS, CAC, LTV).

- Experience with inventory or private label businesses.

What This Role Is Not

- Not an executive assistant role.

- Not a pure reporting role.

- Not a passive observer seat.

This is a mini-operator role with analytical depth and strategic exposure.
