About the Role:

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Branch Manager to lead our operations in Pandharpur, Maharashtra. This is a full-time, on-site leadership position where you will be instrumental in overseeing all facets of the branch's operations. You will be responsible for managing and inspiring a dedicated team, ensuring the branch consistently meets and exceeds its financial and operational targets.


A key aspect of this role involves working closely with small and micro-enterprises in the region, understanding their unique financial needs, and providing them with tailored financial solutions that empower their growth. You will be the face of Aye Finance in Pandharpur, building strong community relationships and driving our mission of financial inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight & Efficiency:


- Manage and supervise the daily operations of the branch, ensuring smooth workflows, adherence to company policies, and efficient resource utilization.


- Oversee all aspects of loan processing, disbursements, and collections, ensuring accuracy and compliance.


- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure operational integrity.

Team Leadership & Development:


- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing branch team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.


- Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training and development needs, and facilitate skill enhancement for team members.


- Promote a positive work culture that encourages initiative, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Sales & Business Development:


- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive loan portfolio growth and expand Aye Finance's market presence in Pandharpur and surrounding areas.


- Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities, building a strong pipeline of potential clients among small and micro-enterprises.


- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the branch.

Financial Analysis & Risk Management:


- Conduct thorough financial analysis and risk assessments for loan applications, ensuring sound lending decisions and maintaining high credit quality.


- Monitor the branch's loan portfolio, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.


- Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory guidelines and internal risk management frameworks.

Customer Relationship Management:


- Cultivate and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.


- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and act as a trusted financial advisor to micro-entrepreneurs.


- Gather customer feedback to continuously improve service delivery and product offerings.

Reporting & Compliance:


- Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on branch performance, sales activities, and operational metrics to regional and head office management.


- Ensure the branch operates in full compliance with all internal policies, external regulations, and statutory requirements.

Community Engagement:


- Represent Aye Finance in the local community, building relationships with local authorities, business associations, and other stakeholders.


- Participate in local events and initiatives to enhance the company's visibility and reputation.

Qualifications:

Leadership & Management: Proven strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, guide, and develop a diverse team.


Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial analysis, credit appraisal, and robust risk assessment principles.


Customer Focus: Demonstrated expertise in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), with a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.


Sales & Business Development Prowess: A strong track record in sales and business development, with the ability to drive growth and achieve targets.


Team Building & Motivation: Exceptional team-building and motivational skills, capable of fostering a high-performing and positive work environment.


Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, staff, and senior management.


Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.


Industry Experience: Previous experience in the financial industry, particularly in microfinance, retail banking, or SME lending, is a significant advantage.


Education: Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
