Role Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager to lead our operations in Haveri, Karnataka. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will be instrumental in overseeing the complete daily operations of the branch. As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a dedicated team, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and achieving ambitious financial targets. This role demands a proactive leader with a strong understanding of the financial landscape and a commitment to driving business growth while maintaining robust compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Branch Operations Management:


- Oversee and manage the end-to-end daily operations of the branch, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.


- Supervise and streamline loan disbursement processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.


- Maintain and improve the quality of the loan portfolio through diligent monitoring and proactive measures.


- Ensure compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership & Development:


- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing branch team.


- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs to foster professional growth.


- Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-oriented work environment.


- Manage staff scheduling, leave, and other administrative aspects efficiently.

Business Development & Growth:


- Drive business growth by actively identifying new market opportunities and expanding Aye Finance's presence in the Haveri region.


- Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with local businesses, community leaders, and relevant organizations.


- Develop and implement effective branch strategies to achieve and exceed financial and business targets (e.g., loan disbursals, customer acquisition, portfolio quality).


- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify areas for business expansion.

Credit Assessment & Risk Management:


- Conduct thorough credit assessments for loan applications, evaluating borrower creditworthiness and ensuring adherence to credit policies.


- Mitigate risks by ensuring proper documentation, verification, and due diligence in all loan processes.


- Implement and monitor collection strategies to maintain healthy portfolio quality.

Customer Service Excellence:


- Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service, addressing customer queries and concerns promptly and effectively.


- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers, promoting trust and loyalty.


- Handle customer escalations and provide resolutions in a professional manner.

Reporting & Analysis:


- Prepare and present regular reports on branch performance, including financial metrics, operational efficiency, and business development progress.


- Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.


- Previous experience in the finance industry is essential, preferably with a proven track record in a managerial or leadership role within a financial institution (e.g., NBFC, Bank, MFI).


- Strong leadership and staff management skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and guide a team.


- Extensive experience in overseeing daily branch operations and a strong commitment to customer service excellence.


- In-depth knowledge of loan disbursement processes and credit assessment methodologies.


- Proven ability to drive business growth and establish strategic partnerships.


- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders (customers, staff, partners, senior management).


- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance pertinent to the lending industry.


- High level of integrity, strong ethical standards, and a customer-centric approach.


- Proficiency in local language (Kannada) will be a significant advantage.
