About the Role:

We are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Head to lead our operations in Cooch Behar, West Bengal. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role where you will be entrusted with the complete oversight of the branch's daily operations. You will be responsible for managing and developing a high-performing team, implementing strategic business initiatives to foster significant growth, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service. The Branch Head will be a pivotal figure, accountable for achieving financial targets, maintaining stringent compliance with all regulatory requirements, and cultivating a positive, productive, and empowering work environment.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership & Business Growth:

- Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies to drive sustainable growth, market penetration, and profitability for the Cooch Behar branch.

- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the local market, expanding Aye Finance's reach and impact.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and economic conditions to adapt strategies accordingly.


Operational Management & Efficiency:

- Oversee all daily branch operations, ensuring seamless processes, operational efficiency, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of branch performance, financial data, and operational metrics to senior management.

- Manage branch resources effectively, including budgeting, infrastructure, and asset management.


Team Leadership & Development:

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs, and facilitate professional development for branch staff.

- Ensure effective communication channels within the branch and with the head office.


Financial Performance & Compliance:

- Take full accountability for achieving assigned financial targets, including loan disbursements, collections, and profitability.

- Ensure strict compliance with all internal policies, external regulations, and statutory requirements (e.g., RBI guidelines).

- Implement robust credit appraisal and risk management practices to maintain a healthy portfolio and minimize non-performing assets.


Customer Experience & Relationship Management:

- Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring the delivery of outstanding service and building strong, lasting relationships with clients.

- Address customer queries and concerns promptly and effectively, acting as a point of escalation when necessary.

- Promote Aye Finance's products and services, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.


Stakeholder Engagement:

- Represent Aye Finance in the local community, building relationships with key stakeholders, local authorities, and business associations.

- Collaborate effectively with various departments at the head office to ensure alignment and support for branch objectives.


Qualifications:


- Exceptional Leadership: Proven track record of strong leadership and effective team management, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse group towards common goals.

- Financial Services Expertise: Extensive experience in the financial services industry, preferably within microfinance, retail lending, or banking operations.

- Credit & Risk Acumen: In-depth knowledge and practical experience in credit appraisal, underwriting processes, and robust risk management principles.

- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and build rapport with diverse individuals.

- Analytical & Decision-Making: Strong analytical abilities, capable of interpreting financial data, identifying trends, and making sound strategic decisions.

- Problem-Solving: Proactive and effective problem-solver, adept at navigating challenges and implementing practical solutions.

- Regulatory Understanding: Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements in India.

- Education: Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputable institution.
