Axis My India - Senior Accounts Manager

Axis My India is Indias leading Consumer Data Intelligence Company. Key Responsibilities:

Statutory Compliance & Taxation:

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, PT, PF, ESIC, and Income Tax.

- Manage the computation and filing of returns for TDS, TCS, GST, PT, and other applicable taxes.

- Coordinate with auditors for timely completion of statutory and tax audits.

Payroll & Compensation:

- Verify salary and remuneration calculations.

- Ensure timely salary disbursement with thorough checks.

- Review and manage statistical returns monthly.

Accounts & Finance:

- Scrutinize books of accounts regularly.

- Finalize books of accounts and prepare for audits.

- Maintain and monitor EMD, SD, and advances tracker.

- Review and verify journal entries, cash, and bank transactions.

- Ensure proper accounting in Tally and maintain documentation through scanning and filing.

Costing & Budgeting:

- Prepare projected and actual cost sheets in coordination with project managers.

- Oversee cost control mechanisms across projects.

Payments & Reconciliations:

- Verify vendor and field staff payments.

- Manage debtor records, update statements, and follow up on collections.

Reporting & Communication:

- Prepare and present MIS and ad hoc financial reports.

- Coordinate with tax consultants, banks, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Strong working knowledge of Tally and MS Excel.

- Sound understanding of Indian taxation laws and statutory requirements.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and team management skills.

- Ability to work under strict deadlines with attention to detail.
