The Cluster Head will be responsible for strategizing, acquiring, and managing land assets required for renewable energy projects (wind, solar, hybrid). This role involves leading a team to ensure timely land acquisition, securing clear titles, resolving disputes, and coordinating with government authorities, communities, and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and implement strategies for large-scale land acquisition in line with project development pipeline.
- Identify suitable land parcels for renewable energy projects (wind/solar/hybrid).
- Conduct due diligence to ensure clear title, legal validity, and compliance with state and central regulations.
- Lead negotiations with landowners, farmers, and local communities to secure land at optimal cost.
- Oversee the execution of lease/sale agreements, MoUs, and related documentation.
- Liaise with revenue, registration, and other government departments for land mutation, conversion, and clearances.
- Build, lead, and mentor a team of land acquisition managers and field officers.
- Build relationships with local communities, government officials, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth land transactions.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, environmental, and statutory requirements related to land.
- Anticipate and mitigate risks related to land disputes, litigation, or regulatory changes.
- Any Graduate/Postgraduate with 15 to 20 years of experience.
- Strong exposure to renewable energy (wind/solar) or large infrastructure/industrial projects.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and people management skills.
- Proven ability to work with government authorities, legal teams, and local communities.
