About the job : Job Overview : - We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President M&A Advisory to join our team. - The successful candidate will play a key role in advising clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions. - The VP will be responsible for leading deal teams, managing client relationships, and overseeing all aspects of transaction execution, from origination to closing. Key Responsibilities: - Transaction Leadership: Lead the end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, including deal origination, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and closing. - Client Advisory: Provide strategic advice to clients on potential M&A opportunities, corporate restructuring, divestitures, and capital raising, ensuring alignment with their long term goals. - Financial Analysis: Perform comprehensive financial modelling and valuation analysis, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses. - Deal Structuring: Design deal structures that meet client objectives while maximizing value. - Oversee negotiations of terms, pricing, and legal documentation. - Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, investors, banks, legal advisors, and other third-party advisors. - Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and industry developments to identify new opportunities for clients. - Team Leadership: Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on financial analysis, client presentations, and deal execution. - Cross functional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams (legal, tax, and regulatory) to ensure seamless execution of transactions. Qualifications: - Education: MBA in Finance, CFA/CA certification is a plus. - Experience: 7 - 9 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, or corporate development, with a strong track record of successfully leading M&A transactions
