Brief Background of the job:   The Syndication Business Group is responsible for syndicating the debt proposals being taken up on underwriting / best effort basis. Further, the group also takes active role in balance sheet management of the bank down selling portion of existing loan book.   - The role involves assisting the prospective lenders in their appraisal process, coordination between various agencies involved in a transaction and also engaging active relationship management with prospective lenders.   Role/Responsibilities:  - Assisting the prospective lenders in finalizing their respective internal Appraisal  - Prompt follow-up and timely resolution of issues, queries, etc. related to proposals being syndicated  - Ensuring timely closure of syndication exercise  - Effective coordination between various agencies involved in a transaction  - Establishing new relationships and deepening of existing relationships with Banks / financial institutions  Reporting Authority: VP / DVP, Syndication   Candidates from Tier 1 B school only to apply.
