Financial Research:

- Under our Financial Research vertical, we support reputable clients in the financial services industry including variety of buy-side and sell-side clients

- The scope of projects ranges from investment research (buy and sell-side equity / credit data, research and analysis) to corporate finance (pitch books, information memos, financial models and other deal / transactions related support work), investment opportunity analysis (market / competition landscape research, deal / transaction summaries, investment committee notes, etc) and various forms of investment analytics and reporting / dashboards / benchmarking

Associate Vice President / Vice President - Financial Research:

- Associate Vice President / Vice President at Axience is hired typically from peer groups or related backgrounds, with one of the key attributes being experience and expertise in areas such as equity / credit analysis public or private, financial modelling, valuations and investment report writing. Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

Work on projects such as:

- Supporting private equity clients in identifying and evaluating investment opportunities; similarly, working with investment banking / corporate advisory clients in pitching investment ideas

- Supporting sell / buy side equity research clients in initiating coverage, annual / quarterly maintenance of models and reports, sector studies and various thematic reports

- Work hands-on on complex projects requiring high levels of financial research expertise, as well as guide and supervise analysts

- Manage projects end-to-end from scoping and execution to keeping internal stakeholders updated and communicating directly with the client

- Assist in proposal preparation, work allocation among analyst team, work review and finalization of deliverables

- Train, mentor and monitor junior analysts

Required skillsets:

- Exceptional oral and written communication skills (English)

- Quantitative analytical skills

- Ability to balance hands-on and hands-off approach

- Should be proactive in prioritizing and organizing tasks to meet deadlines while working on multiple projects

- Superior analytical, interpersonal skills and ability to dig deeper into problems and suggest solutions

- Ability to work on unstructured situations and projects

Required Background:

- 5+ years of relevant experience for AVP and 8+ years for VP

- Prior experience of working in KPOs / captive offshore units of international investment banks / brokerage houses will be given preference

- Experience in one or more of the following

- Sell / buy side equity or credit research with highly developed financial modelling and report writing skills

- M&A analysis (for private equity, corporate finance advisory / investment banking clients) company and industry analysis, pitch book / IM / IC memos, financial modelling, valuations

- MBA from top tier colleges with a strong academic record (top 10% in class); CFA highly preferred

Other Requirements:

- Only Mumbai based candidates or those that are willing to relocate will be considered

- Willing to Work form Office 5 days a week

- Strong Academic grades and International travel experience is preferred
