JOB OVERVIEW:


- We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 plus years of hands-on experience in managing Productions/last mile delivery operations/ fleet management/ fleet sourcing in a fast-paced environment.


- As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our last mile delivery operations to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of goods to our customers


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize last mile delivery operations, including route planning, vehicle utilization, and resource allocation.


- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of delivery drivers and warehouse staff to ensure high performance, productivity, and adherence to company policies and procedures.


- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary to meet or exceed operational targets.


- Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to maintain the highest standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction, including timely resolution of delivery issues and customer complaints.


- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party delivery vendors and carriers to ensure alignment with company standards and service level agreements.


- Client Management: Manage relationships with clients to ensure alignment with company standards and service level agreements.


- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards governing last mile delivery operations, including driver licensing, vehicle maintenance, and transportation regulations.


- Cost Management: Identify opportunities to reduce costs and optimize operational expenses without compromising service quality or delivery performance.


- Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and performance metrics to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.


DESIRED EXPERIENCE:


- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred


- Minimum of 8 plus years of experience in last mile delivery operations management, preferably in the e-commerce or logistics industries


- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.


- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.


- Proficiency in using excel and data visualization tools


- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements related to last mile delivery operations


- Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
