Location: Bengaluru, GS Office ( 5 days onsite )

Domain: Investment Banking / Global Banking & Securities (Mandatory)

Key Project Focus:

Back-end integration projects, specifically post-execution processes (middleware to settlement) and infrastructure.

Role Overview:

As an Associate Project Manager - US, based in Bangalore, you will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering complex projects for our US-based clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and subject matter experts, to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong client engagement skills, the ability to understand and translate business requirements into actionable plans, and a proactive approach to risk management. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our clients' strategic initiatives and contribute to the firm's overall growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project management methodologies.

- Collaborate with US-based clients to gather and document business requirements, ensuring clear understanding and alignment on project objectives.

- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies, to ensure successful project execution.

- Track project progress, identify and resolve issues, and escalate risks to stakeholders in a timely manner, to maintain project momentum.

- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, clients, and other stakeholders, to ensure transparency and alignment.

- Conduct business analysis to understand client needs and translate them into actionable project deliverables, ensuring value creation for the client.

- Support post-merger integration activities by managing project streams related to technology integration, process optimization, and change management, to ensure seamless transitions.

- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on project progress, risks, and issues, to maintain transparency and accountability.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to manage projects through the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.

- Proven ability to engage with clients, understand their needs, and build strong working relationships.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable project plans.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks effectively.

- Experience in the banking or investment banking industry is highly preferred.

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in a related field.
