Role Overview:
As the Vice President - Operations, based in Mumbai, you will be responsible for leading and managing all operational aspects of AWFIS within the region. This pivotal role demands a strategic leader capable of driving operational excellence, enhancing client satisfaction, and contributing significantly to the company's P&L. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve business objectives. This role directly impacts AWFIS's ability to provide exceptional workspace experiences and maintain its competitive edge in the dynamic coworking market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute operational strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality across all AWFIS centers in the region.
- Manage the P&L for the region, ensuring revenue targets are met and profitability is maximized through effective cost management and revenue generation initiatives.
- Lead and mentor a team of operations managers and center staff, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee client relationship management, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention through proactive communication and problem-solving.
- Implement and maintain process excellence initiatives to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall client experience.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to senior management on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients and employees.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities within the region, contributing to the company's growth and expansion strategy.
Required Skillset:
- Proven ability to manage P&L and drive operational excellence in a multi-location environment.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
- Strong client management and relationship-building skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and manage process improvement initiatives, leveraging methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex operational issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and a willingness to travel within the region as needed.
- 11-18 years of experience in Operations and General Management.
