Job Duties & responsibilities - - Provide oversight on overall activities of IBU and ensure activities carried out in IBU is in compliance with the approved policies. - Ensure all internal policies are up to date and ensure modification/updation and take up for approval as per defined process - Provide inputs to Governing Body on any gaps or shortcomings observed in the policies/frameworks - Ensure all reporting at local and regional level is done as per defined timelines - Participate in all meetings/reviews of Governing Body to be carried out as per timelines defined by IFSCA - Monitor and ensure implementation of strategic directions provided by IBU Governing Body. Required Experience - - Sufficient knowledge and experience of the Unit's business operations and processes - Understanding of regulations related to AML/KYC/CFT locally as well as for the group - Ability to provide balanced perspective between business expediency and risk & control - Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across functions.
