- Work closely with HIA in formulating the Risk based audit strategy & plan for internal audits, including management audits of central functions (both at Head Office and at Regional Offices) - Drive the internal audits of central function and management audits, with the help of qualified internal audits, as per the risk-based audit plan, track the key findings and closure of the identified issues/gaps. - Support the HIA on all Audit verticals for implementation and maintenance of Quality Assurance standards as laid down by RBI/ICAI - Assist the HIA in formulating a risk based annual audit plan for the central functions and other audit verticals. - Plan the scope, risk, and frequency of Internal Audit activities in central functions (Finance, HR, Compliance and Risk Management function, Retail Liability products/processes, Operations, Credit, IT, Treasury, Admin and thematic audits etc.) and manage the execution of planned internal audits, and management audits. - Identify risks based on prioritization of audit areas and allocate audit resources in accordance with the risk assessment. - Monitor the implementation of the audit plan for the central functions as per plan and drive report preparation within timelines - Deliberate on the issues raised with the Internal Audit team and management and finalize the audit report including recommendations and management action plans with the HIA. - Implement a tracking system to independently follow-up on the open issues and escalate, if required - Prepare and publish Semi-annual report for the central function audits.
