The first fund has been deployed into consumer and financial services sector. The second fund will focus on consumer, financial services, healthcare, business services and e-commerce. Role Summary : The person will carry out responsibilities in evaluating investment opportunities, crafting investment strategies, in negotiating deals with target companies, assists Partners/Directors and supervise associates and frequently carry significant negotiations for deal closing. Role & Responsibilities : Incumbent will be expected to evaluate and execute new investments by performing thorough and in-depth quantitative and qualitative analyses and due diligence. a) Deal execution responsibilities include : - Working directly with the Partners/Directors and gain experience in the pursuit, analysis, and completion of investments - Developing detailed financial models that include, sensitivity analysis, capital structure options, joint-venture structures, etc. - Drafting investment committee memorandums and internal presentations - Performing industry due diligence - Presenting investment ideas during weekly meetings and other internal meetings. b) Portfolio operations and monitoring responsibilities include : - Continuous interaction with portfolio company management, as needed - Monitoring portfolio company performance and internal reporting - Supporting senior management team members and the board of directors within partner companies to support strategic initiatives, M&A and corporate development activities. c) Deal origination responsibilities include : - Originating new investment ideas and themes. - Establishing and maintaining relationships with industry, trade and professional organizations to enhance visibility of the firm and its portfolio companies in the marketplace Requirements : The ideal candidate must have an MBA from a reputed B-School/MBA+CFA or CA+ MBA with minimum 10 years in the financial services industry and 5+ years of advisory and/or investing experience from private equity fund. A significant portion of that experience should be in consumer/financial services/healthcare/ecommerce/business services deals. An ideal candidate must possess : - Strong analytical skills including the ability to perform company valuations, prepare investment reports, and conduct rigorous diligence and analytical analyses
