Job Description : - Overall responsibility of managing the Payroll, Shadow Payroll, Expat Payroll and remittance as per company standards for India - Full accountability for all statutory pay over's to the relevant 3rd party organisations within appropriate deadlines within Delegation of Authority limits - To liaise and provide expert opinion on continuous improvement actionable that require legal / statutory / regulatory compliance. To liaise with the labour consultants, external bodies, government authorities for closure of notices &amp; inspection matters - Work closely with the stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement process are delivered and drive forward to support the objective to achieve a - world class- delivery services function - Handles complex queries/executive escalations from stakeholders, customers and vendors. Responds and resolves escalations within the assigned team - Conducts performance appraisal and identifies training and developmental needs for assigned team - Mitigate function-related risk through the development, management, implementation, and evaluation of the effectiveness of programs, policies, services, and staff, - Participate and support the annual budget and strategic planning processes, optimisation/reduction of operating cost. Manage controllable costs across area of responsibility through investigation of trends
