Position : Assistant Vice President - Indirect Taxation Number Position : 1 Job Description: Role & Responsibilities: - Independently handling indirect tax compliances for companies under GST - Should be able to handle past assessments and appeals under service tax and VAT regime - Drafting reply to show cause notices received from indirect tax authorities - Representing before the tax authorities in company indirect tax matters - Open for travel across locations for indirect tax matters - Technically competence in indirect tax legislation pre and post GST - Handling internal audits, cost audits, finalisation of accounts - Reconciliation of indirect tax GLs for all companies on timely basis - Preparation of MIS on monthly compliances - Preparation of PPT on indirect tax matters as required by management reporting Desired Candidate Profile : - The candidate should be a CA, Minimum work exp of 15 years of which last 5 years to be in a senior position. The candidate working in Big 4 firms with relevant exp can also be considered. - The person should have exposure to working in diversified Industries with a preference to infrastructure. - Proficient in MS Excel - Working Knowledge of SAP - Proficient in handling technical issues on GST portal - PPT skills - Effective communication Skills - Good team member - Proactive and able to take additional responsibilities as and when required - Ready to stretch beyond working hours as per work requirements Perks and Benefits : Best in Industry.
