AVP - Compensation & Benefits (With a Leading Airline)

Job Summary:

The AVP of Compensation & Benefits will play a pivotal role in shaping the compensation and benefits strategies of our global organization. Reporting directly to the Head of HR, this position is integral in guiding workforce management initiatives to attract, retain, and motivate the best talent in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement innovative compensation strategies that align with organizational goals and market trends.

- Oversee the management of global compensation structures, ensuring compliance with regulations and alignment with industry practices.

- Analyze workforce management data to develop insights that drive compensation and benefits optimization.

- Collaborate with HR leaders to align compensation and benefits offerings with employee engagement and retention strategies.

- Lead the annual compensation review process, including salary adjustments, bonus allocation, and benefits evaluation.

- Provide analytical support and reporting on compensation trends and workforce management metrics to senior leadership.

- Foster a culture of transparency and equity by communicating compensation policies and practices effectively across the organization.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in compensation and benefits, with a proven track record in global organizations.

- Strong expertise in workforce management practices and their integration into compensation strategies.

- Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in compensation and benefits.

- Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in compensation tools and software.

- Ability to communicate complex compensation-related information to diverse audiences effectively.

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certification in compensation and benefits (e.g., CCP, CBP, PHR/SPHR) is highly desirable.

Experience with global compensation benchmarking and market research methodologies.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and initiatives related to talent management.

Familiarity with HRIS and data analytics tools to enhance decision-making in compensation.
