AVP - Basel Reporting

Hike: Maximum 35% on current CTC.

Key Responsibilities:.

Regulatory Reporting Ownership:.

- Prepare, validate, and submit all prudential returns (Capital, Leverage, RWA) within required regulatory deadlines.

Risk and Control Management:.

- Identify reporting gaps, implement mitigation plans, and manage remediation through routine controls testing and documentation.

Process Automation and Enhancement:.

- Partner with IT and data teams to automate reporting workflows, reduce manual interventions, and improve report accuracy.

Regulator Engagement:.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for the regulator (PRA) during audits, inspections, and ad-hoc data requests.

Stakeholder Alignment and Training:.

- Conduct training sessions and create documentation to ensure business, risk, and finance teams remain aligned on reporting standards and compliance expectations.

Requirements:.

Experience:.

- Minimum 5 years in Basel/Pillar frameworks, RWA calculations, and PRA regulatory submissions in a banking or financial services environment.

Basel Reporting Expertise:.

- Must have hands-on experience in at least three levels of Basel regulatory reporting, including:.

Capital Adequacy Reporting.

- Leverage Ratio Reporting.

- Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA) Reporting.

- A strong grasp of regulatory data flow, control mechanisms, and reconciliation processes at each level is essential.

Technical & Analytical Skills:.

- Strong command of capital adequacy concepts, experience handling large data sets, and a sharp eye for anomaly detection.

Governance and Controls:.

- Proven experience in building, implementing, and refining control frameworks to support regulatory reporting.

Stakeholder Management:.

- Ability to communicate complex regulatory matters clearly to senior management and external regulators.

Note: Candidates with relevant prudential reporting and Basel experience will be prioritized.
