Key Responsibilities: Billing Operations Management: - Ensure timely and accurate billing processes. - Develop and implement best practices for billing operations and revenue recognition. - Oversee the preparation and distribution of invoices to customers. - Resolve billing discrepancies and issues promptly and effectively. Revenue Recognition: - Ensure compliance with US GAAP, ASC 606, and other relevant accounting standards. - Review and approve revenue recognition entries and adjustments. - Collaborate with the finance team to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. - Analyze revenue data and provide insights to senior management. Process Improvement: - Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. - Develop and maintain documentation for billing and revenue recognition processes. - Conduct regular training sessions for team members on billing and revenue recognition practices. Compliance and Audit: - Ensure all billing and revenue recognition processes comply with SOX requirements. - Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews. - Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in billing and revenue recognition, with a strong understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606. - Strong proficiency in MYSQL for data extraction and manipulation. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, Vlookup, and complex formulas. - Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. - Demonstrated proficiency in ASC 606 standards. - Experience in a Big 4 is a plus. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. - Experience working with billing systems or ERP platforms is a plus.
