- The Senior Manager - CEO's Office will work directly with the CEO to support organizational priorities, manage cross functional coordination, and ensure timely execution of key projects. This role requires exceptional communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The Senior Manager will act as an anchor between the CEO and core teams such as Fundraising, Girls STEAM, Finance, and other internal/external stakeholders.
- This role is filled with energy, growth and impact.
- You will spend approximately:
- 30% on Strategic Coordination & Executive Support: Act as the CEO's strategic right hand to coordinate priorities, track key actions, and ensure high-level decision support.
- 25% on Project & Program Management: Lead and monitor mission-critical projects with clear plans, timelines, and execution excellence.
- 20% on Fundraising & Donor/Partner Support: Strengthen fundraising efforts through proposal support, donor communications, and insights for CEO-led engagements.
- 15% on Cross-functional Alignment & Team Leadership: Enable seamless collaboration across teams and drive accountability for organizational outcomes.
- 10% on Research, Data & Communication: Produce high-quality analysis, briefs, and communication materials for informed decision-making and stakeholder updates.
What Success Looks Like:
- Smooth and timely flow of information between the CEO and all stakeholders.
- Key organizational projects are delivered on time with measurable outcomes.
- High-quality proposals, reports, and presentations that strengthen donor confidence.
- Strong collaboration across Fundraising, Programs, Finance, and HR teams with reduced follow-up delays.
- CEO always has accurate data, insights, and briefing documents for decision-making.
- Improved planning, tracking systems, and reduced operational bottlenecks.
- Positive internal feedback on communication clarity and leadership support
WHAT YOU`LL ACTUALLY DO:
Strategic Coordination & Executive Support:
- Support smooth and joyful day-to-day operations at the centre.
- Serve as the primary coordination bridge between the CEO and internal teams (Fundraising, Girls STEAM, Finance, Program Operations, etc.).
- Track progress on organizational priorities and ensure timely follow-ups, decisions, and communication flow.
- Represent the CEO in select internal discussions and drive accountability across departments.
- Handle budgeting, expenses, and centre-level financial management with confidence
Project & Program Management:
- Lead priority projects and initiatives assigned by the CEO, including planning, timelines, risk management, and execution.
- Drive and manage multiple projects across teams with a go-getter spirit
- Prepare dashboards, review documents, and performance updates for internal/external leadership.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and support process improvements across the organization.
Fundraising & Donor/Partner Support:
- Collaborate with the Fund raising team on proposals, concept notes, donor communications, - and grant reporting.
- Develop briefs, insights, and meeting materials for CEO engagements with donors, CSR, foundations, and government partners.
- Maintain a central view of commitments, reporting cycles, and stakeholder management plans.
- Cross-functional Alignment & Team Leadership:
- Support the CEO in annual planning, reviews, audits, and organizational rhythm processes.
- Coordinate cross-team objectives, ensuring alignment with Avanti's strategic goals.
- Facilitate structured communication, decision logs, and follow-up systems across leadership teams.
- Collaborate with HR, Academics, Programs, and Operations to keep everything moving
Research, Data & Communication:
- Conduct sector research, benchmarking, and financial/operational analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Draft executive-level presentations, internal notes, meeting minutes, speeches, and communication artefacts.
- Ensure high-quality documentation for board meetings, proposals, and reviews.
Experience:
- 7-12 years in consulting, education, public policy, project management, or leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience working with CXOs/senior leadership and driving high-stakes decision cycles.
- Prior work in strategic projects, PMO roles, fundraising support, or cross-functional coordination.
- Hands-on experience in Financial Management.
