Key Responsibilities

- Develop custom solutions using predictive modelling that solve critical business problems across the value chain of lending business : Acquisition, Underwriting, Portfolio management and collections

- Create a governance framework to monitor the performance of predictive solutions and recommend the action along with potential impact

- Manage end to end analytics projects and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders on defining the project plan, scope, methodology, potential impact of the solution and timelines

- Articulate and communicate results of the implemented solutions with technical documentation

- Improve and implement best practices with respect to new methodologies, model building and validation, automation of existing solutions

- Lead and mentor junior team members to produce high quality deliverables within demanding timelines and creating high impact to get the revenue or potential cost savings

Required Experience

- 5-7 years of experience in Analytics and data science

- Extensive experience with predictive modelling within BFSI industry, Indian banking is mandatory

- Strong communication and presentation skills

- Extensive experience on handling credit bureau and other alternate data sources

- Collaborate, design and implement STP (straight through process) for various Pre-approved offers for the existing/new customers

- Extensive experience in GNPA/Loss forecasting, building and validating various Acquisition/behavioral/collection models, customer analytics is preferred

Required Qualification

- Bachelors degree in Analytics/Economics/Mathematics/Engineering is mandatory

- Masters degree is preferred

Technical Competencies

- Strong technical proficiency in tools and technologies R, Python, SAS is mandatory. Experience of developing and deploying predictive models on ML platforms such as Spark beyond, H2O, Datarobot, SAS Viya etc is preferred

- Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft AZURE, /Google cloud platform is preferred
