
Core Responsibilities
- Extract, transform, and load commercial data from CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and external data sources into BI tools or data warehouses.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and completeness through cleansing, validation, and reconciliation routines.
- Analyse sales, revenue, and market data to identify trends, drivers, and anomalies, providing high-level summaries to sales leaders.
- Translate raw metrics into clear, actionable insights, explaining the why behind performance changes.
- Conduct variance analysis and scenario planning to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and maintain board-level dashboards and monthly/quarterly KPI reports.
- Develop slide decks summarizing key metrics, performance against targets, and strategic highlights.
- Create concise weekly huddle presentations for the commercial team, highlighting wins/losses, risks, and upcoming priorities.
- Act as point of contact for ad-hoc data and reporting requests from BD, Marketing, Proposals, and Finance teams.
- Standardize reporting templates, data definitions, and governance processes to improve consistency and transparency.
- Identify and implement opportunities to automate recurring reporting processes using macros, scripts, or BI tool features.
- Collaborate with IT and Tech & Innovation teams to integrate new data sources or analytics capabilities.
- Support training for commercial stakeholders on self-service reporting tools and dashboards.
- Other duties as directed by Line Management or delegate in line with skills, experience and/or
qualifications.
