Avaada - Regional Head - Strategic Affair & Policy Advocacy

Key Responsibilities:

- Government Relations: Develop and manage relationships with government bodies, ministries, and regulatory authorities to ensure favorable policies and regulations for renewable energy projects.

- Policy Advocacy: Lead efforts in influencing policy decisions by participating in industry forums, working groups, and public consultations related to renewable energy regulations.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including government officials, policymakers, industry associations, and community leaders to further the company's strategic objectives.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for renewable energy projects, including environmental, legal, and policy-related obligations.

- Corporate Communication: Collaborate with internal teams such as Legal, Finance, and Operations to align corporate affairs strategies with business objectives and ensure consistent messaging.

- Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate potential risks related to public policy, regulatory changes, and stakeholder interests that could impact the company's projects.

- Community Relations: Oversee community engagement strategies, ensuring the company maintains a positive image and mitigates any potential community-related issues for renewable energy installations.

- Crisis Management: Lead the corporate affairs team in managing public relations and government communication during crises, ensuring a coordinated and timely response.

- Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and other public platforms to advocate for the renewable energy industry's needs and promote the company's initiatives.

- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the corporate affairs team, providing strategic direction and ensuring high-performance in achieving departmental goals.
