Job Description :
The ideal candidate will conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis across various projects to optimize company growth and business. You will manipulate datasets, create financial models, and summarize findings in a succinct manner for client's usage.
About the Role :
This role is for a finance professional with a strong academic background and prior work experience in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Financial Research. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent analytical and financial modeling skills, and the ability to interact with other Analysts, Associates, and Vice Presidents.
Key Responsibilities :
- Quantitative and Qualitative Industry/Sector Research
- Company Research, Analysis, and Profiling
- Deal Analysis and Tracking including detailed review of transactions
- Using Databases such as Venture Intelligence, Capitaline, and other databases for research
- Financial Modeling, including basic valuations
- Actively support Executive Team in business development, presentations, pitches, etc
Required Skills :
- Graduate or post-graduate degree in Commerce, Engineering, or Chartered Accountancy with outstanding academic success
- Minimum 1 year of prior work experience in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Financial Research
- Analytical mind and sound financial modeling skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong spoken and written English language skills
- Good inter-personal skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks appropriately
- High degree of initiative, motivation, and attention to detail
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with financial databases and research tools
- Strong presentation and communication skills
Qualifications :
- Graduate or post-graduate degree in a relevant field
- Relevant professional certifications are an advantage
Work Details :
This is a full-time work-from-office role, and the successful candidate will be required to work from the office. Hybrid or remote work is not permitted.
