Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our therapeutics sales team in Mumbai.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and executing sales strategies, and managing a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute regional sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets in Mumbai.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, motivate, and coach a team of sales representatives to achieve sales goals.
- Identify training needs and develop plans to enhance sales team performance.
Customer Relationships:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including healthcare professionals and decision-makers in Mumbai.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate existing and new accounts.
Sales Performance Management:
- Monitor and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and pipeline development.
Requirements and Skills:
Education: MBA degree from a recognized institution.
Experience:
- 10-15 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales, with at least 5 years in a sales leadership role.
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with experience in therapeutics sales.
Skills:
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools, Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
