AUM Capital - Manager - Fund Operations

Description:

A leading leading corporate financial institution dealing in ICDS, LAP, LAS is hiring a 'AIF/CAT2 - FUND OPERATIONS MANAGER' at MUMBAI (Andheri).

Key Responsibilities:

(A) Fund Operations & Administration:

- Fund Accounting: Manage fund accounting at both the main fund and Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) level, ensuring accurate net asset value (NAV) tracking, and maintaining capital accounts.

- Transaction Management: Execute capital calls, drawdowns, distributions, and expense management.

- Cash Monitoring: Oversee bank accounts, monitor cash flows, and manage treasury operations.

- Valuation: Oversee the valuation process for listed and unlisted investments.

Compliance and Regulatory Reporting:

- SEBI Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to SEBI (Alternative Investment Funds) Regulations, particularly for Category II & III.

- Filings & Reporting: Prepare and submit periodic regulatory filings, quarterly reports to investors, and board updates.

- Audit Support: Coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, and tax reporting.

- KYC and Onboarding: Manage investor onboarding and KYC documentation through appointed vendors.

Stakeholder Management:

- Vendor Management: Coordinate with external partners, including custodians, Trustees, Registrars and Transfer Agents (RTA), auditors, tax consultants, and law firms.

- Investor Relations: Handle investor queries and ensure timely reporting of fund performance.

Process and Team Management:

- Process Improvement: Streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.

- Team Leadership: Lead a small team of operations analysts (2-4 members).

Requirements and Qualifications

- Education: CA/CS/LLB/MBA (Finance/Legal/Compliance) preferred.

- Experience: 3+ years of experience, with at least 2 years in AIF CAT II/III operations.

- Skills: Strong understanding of SEBI AIF regulations, fund accounting knowledge, proficiency in Excel and fund management systems, and high attention to detail.

- Early joinees (preferred)

Candidates having 3+ years of prior work-experience in managing 'Fund Operations' of "AIF-CAT2 Fund"
