AUM Capital - Credit Manager - SME/Corporate

Description:

A leading Corporate Financial Institution providing best-in-class 'Inter-Corporate Deposits' to large and mid-corporate groups/institutions and High Network Individuals (HNIs) is HIRING a CREDIT MANAGER at the companys Kolkata (Minto Park) office.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Ensure due diligence and financial/credit analysis of corporate, group and promoters at the time of customer application screening, evaluation, underwriting and sanctioning of loan;

- Prepare credit notes/memos along with stipulation of deal specific covenants and present case to Credit Committee after ensuring process and documentation compliance;

- Ensure adherence of Internal Credit Policies and capturing the deviations in Credit Note by ensuring documentation/operation compliance;

- Conduct 'site visits and personal discussions' with Promoters/Customers/CFO;

- Underwrite cases (corporate finance business and manage the portfolio) in compliance with the 'credit policy' and present it to 'senior level' for approval.;

- Oversee and initiate follow-ups with internal/external teams (FI, Legal & Technical valuations) to ensure timely query resolution/ report submission and eliminate any undue/ non-process related delays;

- Monitor portfolio quality, delinquencies and oversee PDD management;

- Responsible for developing, implementing, reviewing and monitoring of various credit policies;

- Evaluate existing underwriting norms customized to local market needs and ensure continued enhancement of consumer credit risk strategy;

Candidates applying for the Credit Manager role, should:

- Be a MBA/PGDBA/PGPM/CA or Equivalent;

- Have prior work-experience of 5+ years and exposure in a similar role in a Bank/NBFC;

- Understand the industry/sector, product (Term Loans, Working Capital, ICD, Structured Products, etc.), market dynamics and application of the same in credit assessments and Risk mitigation.
