Augmont - Business Head - SPOT Business

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic leader to take end-to-end ownership of the SPOT Business and drive the evolution of SPOT 2.0, our next-generation online trading platform, spanning business strategy, product management, live trading operations, procurement, technology, customer experience, and market strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own the end-to-end SPOT business, covering spot purchasing, pricing, premiums, spreads, liquidity, sourcing, profitability, and operational efficiency.

- Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution of SPOT 2.0, driving new products/services, pricing models, workflows, automation, scalability, and customer experience.

- Lead gold procurement and international imports, managing overseas suppliers, bullion banks, logistics partners, and clearing agencies while ensuring compliance with RBI, DGFT, customs, and all applicable regulations.

- Oversee customer support and operational service quality, improving SLAs, processes, customer satisfaction, and retention.

- Manage and strengthen existing SPOT centres while identifying and establishing new locations, ensuring standardized operations and governance.

- Manage market, operational, settlement, and business risks, ensuring strong compliance and governance.

- Lead cross-functional teams and present business performance, market intelligence, and strategic recommendations to leadership.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Experience in Product Management, Trading Platforms, Fintech, Commodity Trading, Exchanges, B2B Marketplaces, or Gold/Bullion.

- Proven track record of building and scaling digital products, marketplaces, or live trading platforms.

- Strong knowledge of technology development, Agile delivery, live pricing, transaction systems, and platform operations.
