You will be working with a team of Certified Professional Accountants (CPAs) and onboarding specialists (staff accountant) in Canada. You will also assist in working on customer engagement in Canada. We are looking for someone who: - Has more than 4 years of experience in accounting and taxation in one of the Big 4 firms. - Has a profound experience working with accounting and taxation standards, Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Entity (ASPE), International Financial Reporting Standards, Canadian Tax Law, US GAAP and US GAAS. - Can examine records, reports, receipts, or other documents and compare them to company assets and liabilities. - Can develop audit objectives, plans, and scope by reviewing available information and conducting research. - Can help design, implement, and maintain internal audit procedures and risk assessment processes - Has developed expert knowledge of Excel, Word, and Information Technology in general. - Is oriented towards efficiency and teamwork. - Is thorough, methodical, resourceful and has an eye for detail. - Has strong oral and written communication skills in English. - Has the desire to work in a disruptive business environment.
