Description:
Role Overview
We are looking for an Audit Support professional responsible for coordinating and supporting both internal and external audits, ensuring accurate documentation, compliance with statutory requirements, and timely closure of audit points. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, documentation skills, and experience working in a corporate/industry setup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate end-to-end audit activities with internal and external auditors
- Prepare, verify, and maintain audit documentation, schedules, and working papers
- Ensure timely submission of data, MIS reports, and financial information required for audits
- Maintain audit tracker and follow-up for closure of open audit points
- Support statutory audit, internal audit, tax audit, and compliance audits
- Assist in process walkthroughs and internal control documentation
- Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and statutory guidelines
- Highlight non-compliance areas and support implementation of corrective actions
- Support finance team in month-end and year-end closing activities
Required Skills & Experience:
- Charted Accountant only
- PQE:- 5-9 years of experience in corporate accounting or audit support
- Strong knowledge of accounting, statutory requirements & audit processes
- Good understanding of internal controls and compliance
- Hands-on experience with ERP (SAP/Tally/MS Dynamics preferred)
- Excellent documentation and MS Excel skills
