Key Responsibilities
Audit Leadership & Delivery
- Lead planning, execution, and completion of statutory audits in accordance with Indian GAAP, Ind AS, and IFRS
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, SEBI, RBI, and other applicable regulatory standards
- Oversee audit fieldwork, risk assessments, testing, and final reporting
- Review financial statements, audit documentation, and working papers
Client Management
- Act as a strategic advisor to clients on audit, regulatory, and accounting matters
- Build and manage CXO-level relationships
- Address client queries and resolve technical issues proactively
Team Development
- Supervise and mentor a team of managers, senior auditors, and associates
- Provide technical training, performance feedback, and career development support
- Lead resource planning and quality assurance
Business Development
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling advisory and consulting services
- Support RFP responses, proposals, and go-to-market activities
- Represent the firm at industry forums and professional events
Practice Growth & Quality
- Drive audit methodology improvements, innovation, and automation in processes
- Ensure compliance with internal risk and quality standards
- Contribute to thought leadership in audit, accounting, and governance
Key Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1215+ years of experience in statutory audit
- Strong exposure to listed clients, large corporates, or BFSI sector audits
- Sound knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS, Indian GAAP, CARO, Companies Act, etc.
- Prior experience in a Big 4 or top-tier consulting environment preferred
- Excellent client communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple audit mandates under tight deadlines
