
Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Chartered Accountant to join our Forensic Audit team based in Delhi NCR. In this role, you will lead complex investigations into financial irregularities, asset misappropriation, and corporate fraud, working closely with senior leadership and legal stakeholders to uncover hidden risks. You will be responsible for dissecting financial records, conducting deep-dive data analysis, and preparing comprehensive reports that serve as the foundation for critical business decisions and regulatory compliance. By identifying vulnerabilities in financial systems and strengthening internal controls, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the organization's integrity and mitigating long-term financial risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute end-to-end forensic investigations by analyzing financial statements and transactional data to identify potential fraud or non-compliance for internal and external stakeholders.
- Evaluate existing internal control frameworks to pinpoint systemic weaknesses and recommend robust mitigation strategies that prevent future financial leakage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and legal counsel to gather evidence and draft high-impact forensic reports that support litigation or internal disciplinary actions.
- Conduct risk assessments across diverse business units to proactively detect anomalies and ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory financial standards.
- Maintain rigorous documentation standards throughout the audit lifecycle to ensure all findings are defensible and aligned with professional forensic accounting practices.
Required Skillset:
- Possess a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with a strong grasp of accounting standards, financial reporting, and forensic investigation methodologies.
- Demonstrate proficiency in data mining and forensic tools to extract insights from large, complex datasets, ensuring accuracy in financial evidence gathering.
- Exhibit exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to connect disparate data points to uncover patterns of financial misconduct.
- Communicate complex technical findings clearly and persuasively to non-technical stakeholders, both in written reports and verbal presentations.
- Maintain high levels of professional skepticism and ethical judgment while handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Adapt seamlessly to an on-site work environment in Delhi NCR, collaborating effectively within a fast-paced team structure to meet stringent project deadlines.
