National Bancassurance Manager - General Insurance (15-20 yrs)
Brief Objective of Position & Its Contribution to the Business
- Were looking for an innovative and dynamic National Bancassurance Manager to Develop & Lead General Insurance Business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys thinking big, strategizing, and bringing those ideas to life from scratch.
- The role will require driving and managing channels for General Insurance ( Motor and Non Motor , SME, Liability Risk , Cyber ) business, Product Management, renewal and roll over Business, Portfolio Quality, Claims Ratio and Insurance partner engagement in Open Architecture.
- Ensuring the proper process in place for the scalability and profitability of the channel in coordination with respective Business Heads and His Team.
- Must have ability to build & manage a large-scale business at growth rate of @ 50% Year on Year Basis
Key Responsibilities /Job Responsibilities/-Financial-Budget/Sales/Cost head/Profit head/- Oversee the entire general insurance portfolio, including motor, health, property, and marine insurance.
- Manage the underwriting process to ensure profitable and sustainable business growth.
Drive the development and launch of new products and services to meet evolving customer needs.
- Ensure the efficient and effective management of claims to minimize losses while maximizing customer satisfaction.
- Be responsible for the overall financial health of the general insurance division, including revenue, profitability, and cost management.
- Designing and driving Sales promotions and campaigns to enable and support overall issuance, activation, persistency targets.
- Continuously keep Building the New Channels along with various products to generate Revenue
Team Leadership and Development- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing senior management team.
- Foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture throughout the organization.
- Ensure the development of talent and succession planning for key roles across the national network.
- Liaise and work closely with various cross-functional teams within the bank to achieve overall business objectives
- Daily Monitoring the all business parameter (Annual Business Budgets for New Business and Renewals along with Activation, business numbers to ensure target achievement
- Keep team trained on various products through Training team of Insurance partners by various medium of class room, Morning hurdle, Video, Mailers, DYK Series,
- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to understand trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities in the Insurance space.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, Sales, Alliances, Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams to align on product offerings and support partners effectively.
- Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and report key business metrics, sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to stakeholders-.
Ideal candidate should be a Management Graduate with an overall work exposure of at least 10-12 years.- Candidate must be from General Insurance or Banking or NBFC Industry.
