1. Portfolio Strategy & P&L Management
- Develop, refine, and execute the strategic roadmap for the credit card portfolio.
- Own P&L for the portfolio, including revenue optimization, cost management, and profitability enhancement.
- Monitor portfolio performance metrics such as activation, spend, revolve, credit limit utilization, and delinquency.
- Drive product positioning and value propositions across customer segments.
2. Lifecycle & Engagement Management
- Design and execute customer lifecycle programs: on activation, usage, engagement, and retention.
- Enhance portfolio KPIs such as activation rate, repeat spend, Credit limit increase and upgrade/downgrade movement.
- Drive digital adoption and customer experience improvements.
3. Analytics & Insights
- Use data-driven insights to identify portfolio trends, customer behavior, risk patterns, and revenue opportunities.
- Partner with analytics teams to run segmentation, modeling, and experimental A/B testing for portfolio interventions.
- Develop dashboards and review mechanisms to track performance against defined KPIs.
4. Campaign & Revenue Management
- Design and execute spend stimulation programs, merchant offers, reward constructs, and engagement campaigns.
- Drive revenue levers including interchange income, finance charges, annual fee realization, and cross-sell.
- Optimize reward economics and unit cost structures.
5. Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with Risk, Marketing, Product, Technology, Operations, Compliance, and Sales to deliver portfolio objectives.
- Work with the risk team to ensure portfolio credit quality and mitigate risk exposures.
- Coordinate with digital and tech teams to enhance product features and customer journeys.
6. Regulatory & Compliance Governance
- Ensure all portfolio initiatives comply with regulatory frameworks (RBI guidelines, data governance, card norms, etc.).
- Maintain high standards of process control, audit readiness, and customer protection.
7. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead a team of portfolio managers and analysts to deliver high-impact outcomes.
- Provide mentorship, develop talent pipelines, and drive high-performance culture.
- Engage senior leadership with performance reviews, insights, and strategic recommendations.
