Atyeti IT Services - Product Owner - Capital Markets

We are looking for an experienced Capital Markets Product Manager with 10 to 12 years of overall experience and a strong background in Capital Markets / Investment Banking, particularly across Securities Processing, Corporate Actions, Post-Trade and Asset Servicing.

- The ideal candidate should have hands-on domain experience and a strong understanding of the end-to-end securities lifecycle, along with proven experience in product lifecycle management, client implementation and delivery.

- This role requires someone who can work closely with business stakeholders, clients, technology teams and operations to understand complex business requirements and translate them into scalable, market-ready product solutions.

- This is a Product Management / Business & Domain role and is not intended for candidates whose experience is primarily in Project Management.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own and drive the end-to-end product lifecycle for Capital Markets products and solutions, from ideation and requirement gathering through implementation, enhancement and continuous improvement.

- Work closely with clients and business stakeholders to understand their business needs, operational challenges and product requirements.

- Translate business requirements into clear and scalable product requirements, functional specifications and solution concepts.

- Define product vision, roadmap, priorities and enhancements in alignment with business and client requirements.

- Leverage strong domain knowledge across Securities Processing, Corporate Actions, Post-Trade and Asset Servicing to design effective solutions. Understand the end-to-end Securities lifecycle, including trade processing, settlement, reconciliation, corporate actions and related post-trade processes.

- Partner with technology, engineering, operations, business and implementation teams to ensure successful product delivery.

- Lead or contribute to client implementation and delivery initiatives, ensuring requirements are understood, documented and delivered effectively.

- Conduct requirement workshops, product discussions and solution walkthroughs with clients and internal stakeholders.

- Identify gaps in existing products/processes and recommend improvements to enhance scalability, efficiency and client experience.

- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure effective communication throughout the product development and implementation lifecycle.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria, validate solutions and support product releases.

- Support UAT, implementation, production rollout and post-implementation activities where required. Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments and evolving Capital Markets practices to identify opportunities for product enhancement.

- Work with senior stakeholders to communicate product strategy, roadmap, business value and delivery progress.

- Identify opportunities to leverage AI/GenAI to improve product capabilities, operational efficiency, automation and client experience.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10 to 12 years of total professional experience. Minimum 8 years of relevant Capital Markets / Investment Banking experience.

- Strong hands-on experience in Securities Processing and Corporate Actions. Strong understanding of : Securities lifecycle Post-Trade processing Asset Servicing Trade processing and settlement Corporate Actions Reconciliation and related operational processes Proven experience in Product Management and Product Lifecycle Management.

- Experience in Client Implementation / Client Delivery.

- Strong ability to understand complex business problems and translate them into scalable product and technology solutions.

- Strong business analysis and requirement-gathering capabilities.

- Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams comprising business, technology, operations and clients.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on product outcomes and client requirements.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Exposure to AI/GenAI, automation or AI-led product solutions will be an added advantage.
