Role Summary

We are looking for a result-oriented Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to take full ownership of our General Trade (GT) business in Kerala. As a market leader in the state, Atomberg is now poised to drive deeper penetration, higher productivity, and sharper market execution. This role demands strong business acumen, leadership capability, and a deep understanding of retail dynamics. The RSM will be responsible for delivering top-line growth, expanding channel footprint, and unlocking market potential across urban and upcountry markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Distribution Ownership

- Deliver monthly, quarterly & annual sales targets for Kerala (primary + secondary).

- Deepen distribution footprint through effective distributor and retail management.

- Own retail execution KPIs: availability, visibility, and placement.

Team Leadership

- Lead and mentor a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs) across the region.

- Build a culture of performance and ownership through structured reviews and market work.

Market Expansion & Growth

- Strategize and execute market development plans across urban and rural GT channels.

- Plan and lead activation campaigns, scheme rollouts, and product push initiatives.

Performance Analytics & Planning

- Analyze sell-in/sell-out trends, monitor stock hygiene, and reduce leakage.

- Leverage market intelligence to identify growth opportunities and refine channel plans.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with HR, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to drive alignment and operational efficiency.

- Strengthen relationships with retailers, distributors, and market influencers.

What We're Looking For:

- 6-10 years of GT experience in FMCG/ consumer durables or similar industries.

- Proven experience in distributor management, market development, and team leadership.

- Strong business acumen and problem-solving mindset.

- Fluent in Malayalam and English.

- Prior experience handling a state or large regional territory is preferred.
