
About the Role:
The Sales Transformation Manager will be responsible for driving technology-led sales transformation initiatives across the organization. The role involves close collaboration with Sales, IT, Commercial, and external technology partners to improve sales productivity, data reliability, and decision-making through digital tools, integrations, and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute sales transformation initiatives involving DMS, SFA, CRM, retailer apps, and analytics platforms
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, IT, Commercial, Trade Marketing) to gather business requirements and prioritize solutions
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications
- Coordinate with technology vendors to identify gaps, track development, and ensure timely resolution of issues
- Own User Acceptance Testing (UAT), feature validation, and post-deployment stabilization
- Drive change management and ensure adoption of digital tools across field sales teams
- Monitor data accuracy, reliability, and governance across sales systems
- Design and maintain dashboards and reports for sales performance tracking
- Stay updated on emerging sales technologies, tools, and industry benchmarks
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of sales systems: DMS, SFA, CRM, retailer apps, and integration workflows
- Ability to assess technical feasibility and manage dependencies across systems
- Experience in business requirement documentation (BRD/FRD) and workflow design
- Familiarity with APIs, data flow architecture, and basic troubleshooting (preferred)
- Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI / Tableau); SQL knowledge is an advantage
- Strong program and project management skills with end-to-end ownership
- Hands-on experience in UAT, system testing, and issue resolution
Educational Qualification:
- MBA / PGDM (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline is preferred
Work Experience:
- 4-8 years of experience in Sales Transformation, Sales Excellence, Digital Enablement, or Techno-Functional roles
- Prior experience working with large field sales teams and multiple stakeholders is desirable
