Overview:

- We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler to join our Business Intelligence and Data Analytics team.

- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing data models, reports, and dashboards, with expertise in SQL, Star Schema design, Power BI, DAX, and SSAS.

- This role requires independent work, close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders, and a focus on performance and security in data solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate directly with business and IT teams to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

- Design and develop data models, reports, and dashboards to support business intelligence initiatives.

- Ensure optimal performance and robust security in all data solutions.

- Apply SQL Dimensional Modeling techniques to create efficient data structures.

- Utilize Star Schema design, including Fact and Dimension tables, to optimize querying of large datasets.

- Leverage Power BI modeling, DAX, and SSAS to build collaborative frameworks between IT and business teams.

- Quickly adapt to evolving data needs, applying experience from modeling diverse scenarios.

Qualifications:

- 10+ years of experience as a Data Modeler in a business intelligence or data analytics environment.

- 8+ years of hands-on experience with SQL, including data modeling and writing complex queries.

- Proven expertise in designing data models, reports, and dashboards for business applications.

- Strong proficiency in SQL Dimensional Modeling.

- Extensive experience with Star Schema design, focusing on Fact and Dimension table structures.

- Demonstrated ability to create collaborative data frameworks using Power BI modeling, DAX, and SSAS.

- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing data requirements.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with additional BI tools such as Tableau or Qlik.

- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).

- Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards
