Job Description

Youll be our: Business Finance Partner and joining our Corporate Finance & Accounts team.

Youll be based at: Corporate office, Bangalore (IBC Knowledge Park)

Youll be aligned with: Lead - Business Finance Partner

What youll do at Ather:

We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Business Finance Partner to partner closely with business leaders, providing critical financial insights and driving strategic decision-making. This role will be instrumental in guiding financial performance, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring sustainable growth across key business units and ensuring financial and commercial hygiene for the businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for designated business units.

- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability assessments, and ROI calculations to provide actionable insights.

- Act as a trusted financial business partner, advising stakeholders on financial implications of business strategies and operational initiatives.

- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, investment decisions, and new product/project evaluations and cost optimisations.

- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting, and data accuracy.

- Prepare and present clear, concise financial reports and KPIs and its drivers to leadership.

- Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams.

- Partner with the cross functional teams and work towards organisational and business goals

Heres What we Are Looking for:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, Professional certification CA highly preferred.

- 6-8 years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), Business finance, or corporate finance, with a strong track record in a business partnering capacity.

- Demonstrated experience in leading budgeting, forecasting, and Financial modelling.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft suites , financial modelling and other tools.

- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP and BI tools (e.g., Tableau,Power BI , Qlik) is a plus.

- Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights.

- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

- Ability to learn things quickly with high attention to detail and accuracy.

- Independent thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Start-up mentality - the ability to work with limited resources, to deal with shifting priorities.

- Problem-solving skills, ability to collaborate.
