Title: Associate - Macro, Fixed Income and Asset Allocation The applicant must possess the following: - Chartered Accountant / CFA / MBA from reputed university - At least 6 to 8 years of experience in investment research - Highly motivated and self-driven as you are expected to work independently - Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to build/improvise the asset allocation framework of the firm - Critically evaluate investment opportunities and portfolio holdings and recommend portfolio actions - Ability to analyse macros trends, economic indicators, review investment products thoroughly and write product review notes - Good understanding of market cycles, investment risk management, and valuation methodologies Skills and Experience required: - Ability to mentor junior analysts in the team - Carry out portfolio reviews independently with the clients - Periodically write blogs/newsletters for the firm - Experience in advising clients - Strong business acumen and product knowledge Key Responsibilities: - Identifying investable opportunities in Global fixed-income markets in line with the Firm's Investment Philosophy - Keeping track of market trends and managing the asset allocation model of the firm - Leading the efforts to produce blogs, newsletters and podcasts on behalf of the firm - Writing investment research notes and financial analysis on investee companies/funds/instruments including the watchlist - Periodic portfolio and performance reporting to clients - Effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders - You will be working in a flat reporting structure and therefore expected to have a tremendous amount of self-drive and willingness to take ownership of your work.
