Role Overview: - Category - Epoxy

The Category Manager will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of a specific product category within Astral Limited. This role involves developing and executing category strategies, managing pricing and promotion activities, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, to achieve business objectives. The Category Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing Astral's market position and delivering value to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies aligned with overall business goals to maximize market share and profitability.

- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and inform category decisions.

- Manage pricing strategies and promotional activities to optimize sales and profitability within the assigned category.

- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales plans and achieve sales targets.

- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness and product demand.

- Monitor category performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reports to management on progress against goals.

- Manage product lifecycle, including new product development, product launches, and product rationalization.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners to ensure product availability and competitive pricing.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful category strategies that drive revenue and market share growth.

- Proven expertise in pricing strategy, promotional planning, and market analysis.

- Strong understanding of brand management principles and marketing techniques.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

- 4-8 years of experience in Category Management, Brand Management, or Marketing roles.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
