Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Controller to join our Controllership team in Bangalore. This role will be integral in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting the budgeting and financial analysis processes. The Finance Controller will work closely with various stakeholders across the organization, including accounting, operations, and tax teams, to provide timely and insightful financial information that supports strategic decision-making and contributes to the overall financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards for accurate financial reporting.

- Implement and maintain robust internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Manage the budgeting process, including developing budget guidelines, consolidating departmental budgets, and monitoring performance against budget for effective resource allocation.

- Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis, to identify areas for improvement and support business decisions.

- Oversee the accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger, to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions.

- Manage tax compliance, including preparing and filing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations to minimize tax liabilities.

- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and address any audit findings to maintain financial integrity.

- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.

- Support the implementation of new accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with IGAAP/IFRS.

- Proven ability to design and implement effective internal control systems.

- Strong understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

- Working knowledge of taxation laws and regulations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- CA Qualified - 2-5 years of relevant experience in controllership
