Role & Responsibilities The role will give you full ownership of the customer support unit, and you will be setting up and overseeing the department from scratch. Your responsibilities will include: - Implementing customer support processes to enhance customer satisfaction. - Drafting, implementing, and executing policies and procedures to facilitate a quality customer service experience. - Managing the customer support department's day-to-day functions. - Informing the team of all new information related to products and procedures, and ensuring support for new products are implemented on time. - Assessing support statistics and preparing detailed reports on the findings. - Creating a team structure, interviewing and hiring new employees for the team. - Managing the budget of the customer support department. - Establishing performance metrics for customer service representatives. - Establishing service levels and requirements for the department. - Establishing SOPs with support partners and ensuring these are followed. - Developing and implementing methods to record, assess, and analyze customer feedback. - Developing and implementing training and quality assurance programs for team employees. - Working with tech, product and leadership teams to identify and implement tech solutions to enhance customer experience - Acting as a liaison between the customer service department and other divisions in the company. - Performing other related duties as assigned. Skills & Qualifications - Prior track record of handling customer support teams for a B2C business - A Bachelors degree at least will be required. - At least five years of related experience required, with prior management experience highly preferred. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
