Position Summary:
The AGM/DGM Admin Operations will be responsible for overseeing and managing the overall administrative operations of the plant/office to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant functioning. This includes managing facility operations, security, transport, statutory compliance, housekeeping, and general administration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administration & Facility Management:
- Ensure smooth functioning of office and factory facilities.
- Supervise housekeeping, security, canteen, and transport services.
- Manage vendor contracts and service agreements.
- Oversee repair and maintenance of infrastructure and utilities.
2. Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with local laws, factory regulations, and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, labor laws, fire safety, etc.).
- Maintain records and documentation for audits and inspections.
- Liaise with government and regulatory authorities.
3. Operational Support:
- Support HR and Operations departments with administrative needs.
- Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures.
- Monitor administrative budgets and control costs effectively.
4. Team Management:
- Lead and develop the admin team, assigning duties and monitoring performance.
- Conduct regular training and performance reviews for administrative staff.
5. Safety & Security:
- Implement and monitor safety protocols within the facility.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness and response plans.
- Oversee the security team and ensure 24x7 safety of plant, personnel, and property.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in plant/factory administration, preferably in the textile or manufacturing sector.
- Experience handling large teams and complex operational environments.
Key Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- In-depth knowledge of statutory compliance and labor laws.
- Crisis management and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Attributes:
- Exposure to sustainability and EHS practices.
- Multilingual capabilities (English, Kannada, Hindi, etc.) a plus.
Compensation: As per industry standards, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
