The team has the experience of working on several successful political campaigns across the country at both the state and national levels. ABM recently finished helping a national political party win the biggest electoral mandate at the state level in India.  About the Role:  At ABM, Associates/Senior Associates(SA) are part of project teams in the campaigns and work with ABM team and client team members to develop political campaign strategy for the client (political party). They plan & manage end-to-end execution of campaign strategies, coordinate with operation teams on disseminating the campaign message, provide inputs for manifesto etc.  During campaigns, Campaign Research Associates contribute to conducting primary and secondary Research on existing issues specifically impacting target voters, discovering narratives and themes of particular elections, work on predicting trends and preparing recommendations for the campaign leading up to preparation of an overall campaign strategy.   The team also works on providing inputs for manifesto and election agendas as well as prepares inputs for campaign communications team.   The job often requires evening and weekend work as well as extensive travel. The role may also require short-term / long-term deployment to the State going to polls. However, after specific campaign projects, the team shall report to the Central Policy Research team based in Gurgaon.  Position requirements:  An ideal candidate:  Should be proficient with English and Hindi; an additional regional language knowledge (apart from Hindi) is an added advantage  Should come from a background where secondary research skills were encouraged (like research background, law firms, market research firms, policy research firms)  Should be comfortable with secondary research, reading books, journals, internet, social media, quickly analyzing and synthesizing data  Should be aware of primary research methods - should be comfortable with conducting FGDs, Interviews, social listening exercise  Should be comfortable with travelling, long periods of deployment on the ground   Qualification  - Minimum undergraduate from a Tier 1 academic institution  - 0-3 years of work experience  - Political consulting or similar experience is an added advantage
